Men of War: Developers update 23

This weeks devupdate brings you back from the North Africa Theatre to the East Front where you step into the roles of Smirnov and Kuznetzov, who are student friends.

The German advance on Soviet territory was almost unstopable and German troops were only several kilometres away from Moscow. It was absolutely vital to stop the Germans and protect the capital, loosing Moscow would have caused a major impact on the Soviet troops moral.
Freshly sent troops out of Siberia were doing a good job, since they were used to the strong winter and temperature.

Soon the German advance was finally stagneted and they could be fought back to the Ukraine where you are going to slip into the role of a special operations officer behind enemy lines to help your comrads on the battlefields.

We also have a little present for your, the M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo. It was named after the huge elephant "Jumbo" which fastly got an equivalent for large and strong. On first look it doesn't seem to be all too different to a standart Sherman, although it had an increased armor protection. In some sources a German Tiger commander is described, who surrendered after a Sherman was taking 5 hits and still was driving. He came out of his tank laughing and surrendered to the American troops, it's said that he continued laughing until his repatriation.
Besides other variants of the Sherman, the Sherman Jumbo was equipped with a 75mm M3 or alternatively with a 76mm to be useful as a tank destroyer besides being an assault tank.

As all Shermans, the Jumbo variant also had gyroscopic stabilization for better aiming while the tank is moving, something that will be simulated in Men of War.
