Men of War: Developers update 19

Each day we are getting closer to the release and ofcourse we don't want to leave you guys behind. Therefore another devupdate! This time about the German Campaign :)

Germany

Gunther Borg, 32 years old. He is a strong-willed, strict and practical person, of blue blood, what he is very proud of. His father took part in the World War I, where he was in command of a platoon, was wounded in the shoulder and awarded the Iron Cross. Gunther Borg follows in his father's footsteps and by 1941 he becomes the commander of a paratroopers group in the 7th air-force division.

On May 20, 1941, he takes part in the landing operation on the Crete island. His group landed in the first echelon not far from Maleme where they and other paratroopers, supported by chasseurs, take control of the aerodrome, giving an opportunity of landing for the German air-crafts with reinforcements and ammunition in that way.

Ammunition was very vital for the success of the mission, survivers of the invasion reported that they only had left a couple of bullets and every real attempt of the Allies to counterattack would have been successful without supplies. Not only supplies but also German mountain troopers were sent as reinforcements through the captured airfield and made it possible to gain control over all of Crete.

This was the beginning of the North Africa campaign.
